Mielno is a small seaside town in north-western Poland, located 12 kilometers from Koszalin. This year’s edition attracted nearly 3500 participants who for three days could swim in the sea water of the temperature of 2° C and enjoy other attractions. To highlight the importance of this event for the development of the town, there is a statue of a walrus by the main beach entrance from Kościuszki street. Even in the summer, this likeable animal reminds the passers-by of the freezing cold water swimmers.
